Job tasks

Chief animator

  • creates and organizes the whole animation program in the hotel with help of his/her team
  • is responsible to the hotel management for the animation program
  • gives tasks to other animators
  • checks the running of activities and supervises other animator by their duties
  • moderates evening programs and shows in different languages
  • previous experience in animation is a must

 

Children animator

  • organizes a program for children in Miniclub, on the beach, by the pool etc.
  • is responsible for evening animation for children (Minidisco, carnival, children shows) in cooperation with other animators and under the supervision of chief animator
  • takes part on evening shows

 

Sport/fitness animator

  • organizes sport activities and tournaments in different kinds of sport (beach volleyball, football, tennis, table tennis, water ball, boccia, darts, aerobic, aqua gym, stretching, taeboo etc.) depending on his/her skills and hotel facilities
  • takes part on evening shows

 

All-rounder

  • takes part on all kinds of animation activities including children, sport and evening animation

 

Waiter/Barkeeper

  • serves hotel guests in F&B hotel facilities
  • works in international team

 

Dancer

  • presents dance shows and musicals for hotel guests of all contractual partners of the employer
  • participates also on some daily animation activities

 

Choreographer

  • is responsible for all dance choreographies and rehearsals of evening shows in co-operation with dancers and animators

 

Age

18 – 35 years

 

Languages

Active knowledge of at least two foreign languages (English, German, Russian, Spanish,...), especially knowledge of English and German on a very good level.

 

Additional demands on animators

  • motivation and willingness to work with people
  • positive attitude to children and sport
  • communicative and reliable person
  • organizational skills

 

Additional demands on waiters/barkeepers

  • practical experience in similar position in tourism
  • communicative and reliable person
  • organizational skills

 

Additional demands on dancers/choreographers

  • previous experience with professional dance is required
  • motivation and willingness to work with people
  • good knowledge of English, to be able to communicate with the choreographer

 

Salary

400 - 500 EUR net monthly – animator without experience

450 – 650 EUR net monthly – waiter, barkeeper (according to practical experience)

500 - 650 EUR nets monthly – animator with experience in hotel animation, dancer,

500 – 700 EUR net monthly – dance choreographer (according to practical experience)

800 – 1200 EUR net monthly – chief animator (according to practical experience)

 

Length of stay

2 – 9 months

 

Working hours

8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week, one day off.

 

Accommodation and board

Free accommodation and full board is provided in the hotel. Accommodation might be provided in the hotel or in apartments near the hotel. Animators normally live in a double/triple room.

Full board (three meals per day) and drinking water (sometimes soft drinks as well) are in all the hotels for free.

 

Insurance

Medical and accident insurance is provided for the time at work.

 

Job placement

Place of work is set by the agency in Greece, it can not be chosen by animators. The agency is your employer and can change the hotel you work in. Hotel is the only place of your work.

It’s not always possible to guarantee the placement of couples or group of more people to the same hotel.

 

Flight ticket

Flight ticket is booked individually by every animator. Our agency can advise you where to find cheap flight tickets on internet.

 

Casting

Every candidate for work in Greece has to take part in one of the castings, where the Greek employer will choose suitable candidates for all contractual partners.

Castings for season 2013 will be organised between January and April 2013. Exact date and place will be set later.

 

Another expenses

Flight ticket (reimbursed after certain period), pocket money for beginning of your stay.

 

How to apply

 

Information for an applicant

As you have accommodation and full board free, the salary will be your net profit.

You will work mostly in luxurious hotels and clubs, in beautiful resorts by the sea where other people come only for holiday. You can spend your days off on the beach or by making trips.

You will gain new contacts all around the Europe and improve your language skills.
